History Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting (DAFOH) (EFOH)
Dr. Jessica Russo is the Mental Health Adviser for Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting (DAFOH). DAFOH is a non-profit organization with the mission to educate the medical community and public on issues related to illicit organ harvesting practices in China. The organization has been nominated twice for the Nobel Peace Prize and is the recipient of the 2019 Mother Theresa Memorial Award.
Dr. Russo is a clinical psychologist with a private practice in Philadelphia and on volunteer faculty with the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. She has spoken and written extensively on China’s forced organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners and other prisoners of conscience.
