Message from President Usha
It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of the passing of Rotarian Steve Nettles, Associate Member of CAAHT, this past week. Steve was a dedicated leader who truly embodied our motto of Service Above Self. As Chair of the District Human Trafficking Committee, he was a strong advocate for funding vital projects, actively participating in CAAHT meetings, and working tirelessly to build safer communities and support survivors. Steve will be remembered for his profound kindness, his empathy, and his readiness to step up whenever help was needed. A celebration of life will be planned for a later date, and I will share those details as soon as they are available. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Celebrations
We have much to celebrate! We received four Rotary grant awards for a total of $2,733 between the End Forced Organ Harvesting Rotary Satellite Club and CAAHT Rotary Club!
Grants 1 and 2 EFOH film screenings in several countries.
Grant 3 for Care Kits for Riley County Police Department
Grant 4 for training materials from Remarkably Resilient
Last year CAAHT Rotary was awarded a Dignity Kit Global Grant in collaboration with Jennifer Montgomery for girls and women in Uganda. The main purpose of the project was to purchase sewing machines to teach women to sew reusable menstrual pads. We recently received photos from Uganda of the project at work!
