Message from President Usha
It's hard to believe that August is almost over! If you weren't able to make it our meetings this month, below is information on what you missed and what's coming up.
August Programs
August 3 - CAAHT members discussed ideas for Rotary District grant and voted to accept Tobias Schlingensiepen as a new member. Welcome, Tobias!
August 17 - Tiffainie Askew, Director of the Victim Rights Coordination Unit for the Kansas office of the Attorney General spoke at the CAAHT meeting.
Celebrations
The August edition of the Rotary magazine cover story featured the Intersection to Care (ITC) program! It features CAAHT Rotarians Jodi Whitt, Patti Mellard, Kristen Shook, Alexis Tracy, working with incarcerated human trafficking victims to help break the cycle by providing support services, education, and mentors. It's an excellent portrayal of what we can achieve when Rotary and community members collaborate for a common cause!
