Topic: Legislating Against Evil: America's New Leadership to
Stop Forced Organ Harvesting
Jan Jekielek is the host of "American Thought Leaders".
Prior to becoming a journalist, he worked in human rights. Having witnessed firsthand the brutal human rights violations occurring in China, he worked with an underground railroad to help Chinese dissidents escape China through the Golden Triangle to Bangkok and ultimately reach Western countries. It was during this time that he discovered the profound power of telling stories about unknown heroes, a realization that transformed both his perspective and the impact of his reporting on audiences.
As a journalist, he was among the first to cover and expose the Chinese regime’s ongoing practice of forced organ harvesting from prisoners of conscience.
Over the past five years, he has conducted more than a thousand interviews with thought leaders worldwide, including heads of state, multiple U.S. cabinet secretaries and agency officials, and members of Congress.
Jan is also an award-winning filmmaker, producing several documentaries, including the Holocaust documentary “Finding Manny” about his father-in-law, who escaped a Nazi death train at age 16.
