Propaganda Campaign and Brain Washing in the CCP's Persecution of Falun Gong

Based in Germany, Ding Lebin is a human rights advocate and a freelance China researcher. However, he is also the son of persecuted parents in communist China, whose fate and safety has been addressed by the European Parliament with an EU Resolution titled The ongoing persecution of Falun Gong in China, notably the case of Mr. Ding Yuande (2024/2504(RSP)).”

His father, Ding Yuande, is a Falun Gong practitioner, and is being illegally imprisoned in Shandong Province Prison in China.

Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa, is a spiritual practice involving slow-moving meditative exercises and teachings based on the principles of truthfulness, compassion, and tolerance. The practice was first introduced to the public in China on May 13,1992.

By the late 1990s, there were 70 million to 100 million Chinese practicing it, according to official estimates—surpassing the CCPs membership at the time. Then on July 20, 1999, the CCP unleashed a brutal campaign to eliminate the practice. Adherents, who were known for their good health and clean lifestyle, also became prime targets for forced organ harvesting—the state-sanctioned killing of detainees en masse in order to sell their organs.

The Chinese Communist Party is trying to silence Ding Lebin due to the ongoing rescue campaigns he has launched to free his parents. Numerous media reports and a press release from the German Federal Public Prosecutor's Office have brought to light allegations against a German citizen of Chinese origin, who is a former employee of a German MEP in the European Parliament. The accused repeatedly passed on information about negotiations and decisions in the European Parliament to his Chinese secret service handler in January, 2024. This included information about the adopted EU Resolution of January 18, 2024 on the persecution of Falun Gong in China (2024/2504(RSP)). The former employee also stands accused of spying on Chinese dissidents in Germany.

Along with human rights groups and parliamentarians from every European country, Ding Lebin is dedicated to freeing his parents—especially his father—and all other Falun Gong practitioners in China from the ongoing state crimes committed by the CCP.
